Course Description:
This 12-week course is designed for musicians who want to learn the basics of improvisation. Students will learn how to create melodies and harmonies spontaneously, and develop the skills and confidence to improvise in a variety of musical styles. The course will focus on the fundamental principles of improvisation, including melody, harmony, and rhythm, and will also cover topics such as phrasing, timing, and listening.
